County of Jones issued the following announcement on Mar. 29. 

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a full – time Administrative Assistant for Parks & Recreation.  The applicant will be responsible for routine clerical and administrative duties, assisting customers with rentals, assisting customers with sports sign ups, working closely with sports associations, making appointments and scheduling meetings, and maintaining the office filing system.  Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical or administrative experience.  Applicant must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.
