COUNTY OF CRAWFORD: NOTICE: seeking Full Time Office Clerk/Billing Specialist

County of Crawford issued the following announcement on July 27. 

The Crawford County Commissioner Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Full Time Office Clerk/Billing Specialist.

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have a associates degree or 1 year specialized experience, and have a valid driver’s license.

This position requires intense clerical duties including operation of office equipment, computers, answering telephones, taking messages, process bill coding for payments associated with the Crawford County Water System, must possess customer service skills, manage bill payments, primarily responsible for scheduling transit appointments and supervising drivers, and the
ability to deal effectively with other employees and the general public.

Starting salary of $13.00 -$15.00 an hour will be based on education and experience.

The selected applicant will be required to pass a drug and background check prior to employment.

To apply, please complete a Crawford County Employment Application and Criminal History Consent Form and return them to the Crawford County Commissioner Office, located at the Crawford County Government Complex, 640 GA Hwy 128, Roberta, Georgia 31078. Applications will be taken until August 6, 2021.
