City of Forsyth issued the following announcement on June 23. 

The City’s electric department was recently awarded the System Improvement Award by Electric Cities of Georgia. The award was presented to the employees of the department at Monday’s council meeting.   City of Forsyth was one of three cities to receive the award.  The many system improvements will increase savings and reliability of service to our customers.
