Of the 3,250 people living in Gray in 2019, 52.2 percent (1,695) were women and 47.8 percent (1,555) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Macon Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,018-to-941. In the 65 and over age range, there were 403 females and 187 males.
