Boys Cross Country Takes Region Title, Girls Finish Second

Stratford Boys Cross Country finished first in the Region Tournament for the Championship. Stratford Girls Cross Country finished second. Top 10 finishers and All-Region for the boys were Zane Harley (1st), Wes Flournoy (2nd), Jude Burgess (3rd), Jack Harrington (6th), Andy Cheek (9th), and Dhruv Das (10th). Top 10 finishers and All-Region for the girls were Rachel Putzke (6th), Campbell McIntyre (7th), and Anna Wangerin (10th).  JV Girls Top Ten Finishes were Sallie Butler (1st), Eden Kovacs (3rd), Georgia Reeves (5th), Piper Bushway (6th), and Mary Leland Cozart (7th). JV Boys Top Ten finishes were John Putzke (2nd), Ramsey Harley (4th), Joshua Dreher (5th), John Emory Hall (6th), and Cameron Moghaddam (10th) Congratulations to both teams for a great meet. They will compete in the State Meet on Saturday, October 29, beginning at 11 a.m. hosted by FPD.
