Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrest two during a traffic stop for a vehicle impeding the flow of traffic on Rocky Creek Road. When a deputy attempted to pull over the Chrysler 300, the driver began changing lanes and a teenager in the backseat jumped out and fell down while holding a semi-automatic handgun. He then jumped up and ran away. Deputies arrested the driver and also took the teen that ran into custody. The pair face charges ranging from Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Substances with Intent to Use to Manufacture Schedule I or II Controlled Substances, Possession of Sawed-Off Shotgun, Sawed-Off Rifle, Machine Gun, Dangerous Weapon, or Silencer, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, to Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers.
