Arrest Made In Aggravated Assault and Entering Auto Incident

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with the assistance of Georgia State Patrol troopers, arrested four individuals in reference to an Aggravated Assault and Entering Auto incident. The incident occurred on November 21, 2022, at Walmart, located at 1401 Gray Highway, just before 9:00 p.m.

It was reported the victim 39-year-old Jason Seales was walking to his vehicle that was parked near the wooded area, in the Walmart parking lot. Seales noticed a group of individuals that had made entry into his vehicle and were removing items from the vehicle. He chased after the suspects into the wooded area when the suspects fired a shot striking Seales. 

Macon-Bibb dispatch gave out information on the suspects that were last seen running toward Atrium Urgent Care located on Gray Highway. Georgia State Patrol troopers heard the description of the suspects, and observed the males running from the area, and began chasing them on foot. The suspects were taken into custody and turned over to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies. 

The four males were later discovered to be juveniles. They were all transported to the RYDC and charged with Aggravated Assault, Entering Auto, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm Under the Age of 18-years-old. 

Seales was transported by ambulance to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition.
