Announcing She Leads Webinar hosted by Secretary Brad Raffensperger: Secure Your Finances, Your Best Defense Against Fraud

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is announcing that She Leads will be hosting its 22nd event, “Secure Your Finances: Your Best Defense Against Fraud.” This free webinar will take place on Tuesday, August 2 at 6 pm. Registration is open to all Georgians.

“Providing Georgians with greater financial savvy is an important mission of SheLeads,” said Raffensperger. “Financial literacy is crucial as we fight inflation and economic uncertainty.”

Today, it’s more important than ever to be vigilant and careful about your personal finances. Our expert panel will educate you on how to proactively protect yourself against various financial frauds and provide tips and resources to keep your money safe.

The event will be moderated by Capitol Correspondent and Host of Lawmakers and Lawmakers: Beyond The Dome on GPB-TV, Donna Lowry. Speakers for this free webinar include Anna M. Burns, Federal Trade Commission Regional Director, Southeast Region; Kruti Bolick, Chief Risk Officer at Homrich Berg; Kamal Ghali, Partner at Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP; and Christine M. Kieffer, Senior Director of the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.

She Leads is a  financial empowerment seminar series hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of his multi-faceted financial literacy platform and is administered through the Securities Division. These free webinars feature industry leaders who discuss resources that can help increase attendees’ knowledge about money, their relationship to money, and financial issues and strategies for growing their wealth.
